The fonds also includes documents from the Jewish religious communities of Choustník, Myslkovice, Přehořov, and Soběslav, documents concerning the establishment and operation of the Jewish private school in Tučapy, the Jewish schools in Myslkovice and Choustník, documents concerning a dispute of David Lustig from Skopytec, a former protective Jew of the Mladá Vožice estate, about determination of the home municipality.
- Archival history:
- After the abolition of the office, the entire registry was transferred to the District Governor's Office in Tábor, where it remained until being transferred to the Archives of the Ministry of the Interior in Prague. In Prague, the files were stored in boxes and an inventory list was made for them. After the establishment of the State Archives in Třeboň, the entire fonds (except for 1 register and 1 box of files, which are missing) was handed over to Třeboň, and subsequently it was taken over by the District Archives in Tábor.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Soběslav District Governor's Office was established as the lowest instance of the state political administration after 1848. In 1855, the District Governor's Office was abolished, and district offices were created for each judicial district. The jurisdiction of the district office applied to both political and judicial administration. The Soběslav District Office was abolished on 31 August 1868. The judicial district was again included in the Tábor District Governor's Office.
