- The Jewish school in Tábor was founded in 1844. The school was private and ceased to exist in the same year. In 1864, the school was renewed as a general two-class school, with German as the language of instruction. First, it was located at 156 Pražská Street, then at 242 Střelnická Street, 138 Kotnovská Street, and in 1863, at 142 Koželužská Street. After reducing the number of pupils in the 1880s, it became a one-class school. In 1890, it was again extended to two classes. In 1894 the school was closed. Political district: Tábor.
