Also relevant are the files relating to the declaration of death (file no. M) from 1945–1958, guardianship files, and registers (file no. E, IV, P) from 1850–1855 and from 1898 onwards.
- Archival history:
- The written material of the District Court in Pardubice was stored in the registry until 1950. The documents were stored in the state archives, where other documents selected in the appraisal proceedings from 1953, 1957 and 1959 were handed over. In 1950, the selected material was arranged and a provisional inventory was created. In 1964, the entire fonds was transferred to the District Archives in Pardubice. Gradually, archive materials from later appraisal proceedings are being added.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Pardubice District Court was established on 14 June 1849. In 1855, a mixed district office was established in Pardubice, which dealt with all administrative, tax and judicial matters. In 1867, the mixed district offices were again divided into separate district courts and district offices. In 1952, the courts were divided into people's courts (former district courts), regional courts, and the Supreme Court. The new organisation of the state power in 1960 also brought about a reorganisation of the courts. The people's courts in Přelouč and Holice ceased to exist and a single court was created in Pardubice for all three regions.
