- Administrative/biographical history:
- District courts were established on the basis of the 1849 imperial decision as single courts for the territory of individual judicial districts. With the reform of 1855, the judicial agenda was entrusted to the mixed district authorities. In 1868, the separate district courts were re-established. The network of district courts remained unchanged until the judicial reorganisation in 1949.
