Relevant are the following files: lists of real estate owners (1850-1922); directive on the use of Jewish names (1864); Jewish slaughterhouse (1866); issuing of industrial permits (1875-1922); lists of virilists (1884-1922); lists of voters (1888); construction projects and expansion of industrial enterprises (1890-1922); Karol Lőwy's fabric factory (1890-1922); lists of associations (1909-22); work rules of Žilina factories (1911); list of businesses and factories (1917); establishment of the Jewish Social-Democratic Party Poale Zion in Žilina (1919); and the Zion Society (1921).

- After the abolition of forced servitude, the town self-government was formed on a different legal basis than under the feudalism. It was headed by the mayor, the town councillors and the town notary.
