- Administrative/biographical history:
- District offices were established in 1849, first as a temporary offices of public administration. A reorganisation took place in 1850, and another in 1853. The district office was the lowest political-administrative unit and at the same time the first instance court in Liptov County. The seat of the district office, later of its branch, was the community of Hybe. At the head of the branch was the adjunct. The office supervised compliance with law, kept the agenda of taxes, fees, military affairs, elections, and was the industrial supervising authority of first degree. It ceased to exist in 1854.
