Also relevant are: emigration and passports (1876-1918); establishment of a new cemetery in Trenčianske Teplice (1883); the cemetery in Beckov (1891); keeping of registries (1885, 1915); construction of a prayer house in Pruské (1887); Chevra Kadisha in Varin and Žilina (1888); applications for surname changes (1880-1918); Jewish associations (1891, 1907); and information on Jewish religious communities in the county (1918).
- Archival history:
- When the office ceased to exist, the fonds was stored in Trenčín. Later it was taken over by the State Regional Archives in Nitra, from where it was transferred in 1983-1984 to the State Archives in Bytča.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The county deputy-head was the most important executive officer in the county administrative system. He directed the activities of the officials, kept his own public administration agenda of the county and his authority covered associations, foundations, health system, trades, and building industry. After the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1918 the function of the regional deputy-head ceased to exist.
- System of arrangement:
- When being arranged, a part of the fonds was reconstructed into original subject groups (1862-1891). A part of the fonds from 1892-1918 was chronologically arranged and new subject groups were created from the originally independently arranged units.
