- Information on Jews can be found in the protocols (1785-1884), the book of new residents (1800-1921) and accounting books (1829-1904).
- Archival history:
- The files were stored in the town house and after the abolition of the municipality office they were kept at the notary office. In the 1930s, part of the documents was transferred to the Liptov Museum in Ružomberok, from where they were taken over by the Archives in 1960. Part of the documents was transferred to the Archives as early as 1958.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The town was originally a mining settlement. After the arrival of German colonists, it gained extensive urban and mining privileges but remained a royal town. In the 19th century, its importance decreased and the town became only a large municipality with a local council and a local board.
