- The files include circulars on the organisation of elections, candidate lists of political parties, registers of voters, telegrams about the elections and results in individual districts, the result of the first counting and the distribution of the seats, the bill of costs and lists of voters in Košice Region from 1925-1926, referring, in particular, to the second parliamentary election in the interwar Czechoslovakia which took place in 1925. Judaica can be found across the entire fonds. Among the most important are candidate lists of the Jewish Party and other political parties, and the recovery of arrears for the printing of ballot papers from the Jewish Party and other parties. Thematically important may also be lists of voters from the municipalities of some former electoral districts (in particular, Veľké Kapušany and Modrý Kameň), the list of the parties, their deputies and alternates in the elections to the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies for constituencies XI or XVI, and the results of the parliamentary elections from several constituencies in which the Jewish Party was standing.
- Archival history:
- The fonds was taken over by the predecessor of the State Archives in Nitra. During the transfer in 1952 it was mixed with the fonds of Tekov County. In 1952, it was detached as a separate fonds. Later, it was arranged, and in 1962 it was inventoried. The fonds was supposed to include the 1920 files, too, but they were mixed with other fonds and there is no information about their location now. In its current form, the fonds is classified as fully arranged.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The constituencies were established on the basis of Acts No. 134 and 124/1920 Zb.z., later amended by Acts No. 205 and 206/1925 Zb.z. On their basis, the 16th constituency was formed for elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the National Assembly, with the seat of the Regional Electoral Committee in Nové Zámky for the municipalities and districts of Bratislava, Nitra and Zvolen Counties. Another one was the 11th constituency for elections to the Senate of the National Assembly, with the seat of the Regional Election Commission in Nové Zámky for the municipalities and districts of Bratislava, Nitra, Zvolen, Liptov and Košice Counties. On the territories of the constituencies the regional electoral committees were constituted whose composition and competence was stipulated by the law. Their members were representatives of individual political parties. Their work was to make changes in the candidate lists, if needed, and to do the first counting.
