- For the study of Jewish history, the following files will be of particular interest: land registers from the 16th to 19th centuries; repair of a roof of a synagogue 1928 [file currently missing]; and from the period of the Holocaust: a list of persons of Jewish ethnicity 1940–1943, removal of anti-German texts by Jews 1941–1942, applications for Jewish flats from 1941 to 1944. Attention should also be focused on the agenda of population records and domicile certificates from 1850 to 1948 and from the Holocaust period on documents about care for refugees in occupied areas 1938–1939.
- Archival history:
- The documents were kept by the creator at the town hall, where they suffered losses due to several fires. The Vyškov State District Archives in Slavkov u Brna took over the fonds in 1967, and a smaller part and individual items had already been handed over previously. There the fonds was arranged in 1967-1968.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The oldest mention of Ivanovice apparently is from the 12th century, but this involves a forgery from the 13th century. In the Middle Ages, Ivanovice belonged (with gaps) to the order of Johanites, and in the early modern period to various noble houses. Until 1848, it was the seat of the manor and then an independent municipality. In 1919 the market town was elevated to the status of a town. Jewish settlement in Ivanovice is in evidence from the 16th century, with a smaller community there. Therefore no Jewish political community was created and political self-government was executed after 1848 by the market town (and later town) of Ivanovice, jointly for both Jews and Christians. Ivanovice na Hané fell under the political and judical district of Vyškov during 1850-1949.
