- The fonds includes records of the political administration of Vysoké Mýto District (Skuteč and Vysoké Mýto Judicial Districts). The fonds is not completely arranged. In the arranged part of the fonds, the following files of interest to the study of Jewish history can be found: Incidence of anti-Jewish sentiments (1890), Jewish Foundation in Luž, Caution concerning anti-Jewish riots, Seizure of anti-Jewish leaflet (1897), Statistical overview in the political district (1851-1853), Anti-Jewish incident (1938), Persons of Jewish religion in state service (1939), Searching for Jewish emigrants, Jewish share on factory production and trade, Measures against Polish Jews (1939), Allocation of rooms for Jews, Regulation of contact with Jewish inhabitants, Use of railway restaurants by Jews, Temporary accommodation of Jews, Designation of Jewish businesses and factories (1940), Office hours of money institutions for Jews, Ban on borrowing books from public libraries (1941), Ban on serving Jews in barber shops (1942) and also the census records.
- Archival history:
- The archival records of the Vysoké Mýto District Office were handed over to the then District Archives in Ústí nad Orlicí in 1955. Further acquisitions took place in 1958, 1959 and 1968. Part of the archival records were also acquired from the archival fonds of the Vysoké Mýto District National Committee, which ceased to exist in 1960. Part of the archival records (mainly censuses) were transferred from the State Regional Archives in Zámrsk in 1998.

- The inventory is divided to individual handling periods 1850-1855, 1855-1868, 1868-1902, 1903-1937, 1938-1949 and includes books, files, registry finding aids and census records.
