- Documents in the fonds were originally kept with the creator at the town hall, where they were looked after with variable levels of care during different periods. A lot of older documents in particular were lost or destroyed. A municipal museum was established at the end of the 19th century, which was also entrusted with care for the municipal archive. Its documents were taken over in 1949 by the District and Municipal Archives in Uherský Brod, from where they were moved, after administrative reform in 1960, to the State District Archives in Uherské Hradiště.
