- Archival history:
- Documents in the fonds were kept with the creator and organised according to church regulations. According to an agreement between the Olomouc archiepiscopal consistories and the regional administrations of the Ministry of the Interior in 1962, the fonds was taken over in 1962 by the District Archives in Uherské Hradiště and was supplemented by transfer from the Moravian Provincial Archives in Brno in 1973 and 2009. Despite storage in the state archives, the fonds continued to be the property of the church, which is stored in the district archives as a deposit on the basis of an agreement between the archive administration of the Ministry of the Interior and the Archbishopric of Olomouc of 1995 and an agreement with the Moravian Provincial Archives of 2006. The fonds was arranged in 2009.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The vicarage in Buchlovice is first mentioned in sources from the end of the 14th century and it is assumed that it already existed in the 13th century. It operates as a parish of the Roman Catholic church in Buchlovice to this day.
