- The fonds contains fragmentary records of the municipal office in Darmyšl, specifically a municipal chronicle from 1923–44 describing houses in the municipality and their brief history, including houses 57–60 and 62–63, which were owned by Jews (pp. 165–170 and 172–176).
- Archival history:
- The material was probably taken to the archives in 1957. The chronicle was defined as an independent fonds only in 2000 within the framework of internal fonds revision.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The operation of the municipal office in Darmyšl began in 1850. Municipalities (Gemeinde) became the lowest components of self-administration in 1850, with independent authority (such as administration of municipal assets, domicile agenda, security and care for the poor) and transferred authority (such as guardianship, election, warrant, tax and military matters). The operation of the municipal authority was terminated in 1945.
