- Scope and content:
- The collection consists of alphabetically sorted applications for residence permits from the municipal registration offices. The collection is arranged by region: Přerov and Přerov area, Kojetín area and Hranice area. Records from the 1930s and 1940s predominate. The collection is an important source of data about the last addresses of Jewish inhabitants during the period of the Protectorate.
- Archival history:
- The collection was created at the district archive Přerov in 1996 after the acquisition of applications for residence permits from the Přerov district.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The state district archive of Přerov (until 2002 the district archive of Přerov) was created in 1960 during territorial administrative reform through the merging of the former district archives for the districts of Přerov, Kojetín and Hranice. Until 1995, when the archive and all the fonds were sent to a new building in Henčlov, it had regional sites in Lipník nad Bečvou, Potštát and Tovačov. The archive looks after more than 2,000 fonds and collections.
