- Scope and content:
- The fonds contains only official books and registry finding aids. The file material has not survived. The book of issued trade licences, books of issued travel documents, the draft list and entries in the incremental registers apply to the members of the Jewish political community in Lipník nad Bečvou.
- Archival history:
- The fonds was transferred to the district archive in Přerov in the years 1962-63 by the regional state archive in Opava. In 2014 an inventory was created.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Gemischtes Bezirksamt als Gericht Leipnik (political and judicial district office in Lipník nad Bečvou) was founded in 1855 as part of a broad reform of political administration. In contrast with the preceding state, it combined first-instance political administration and judiciary. It was run by a district head and 35 municipalities came within its administrative circuit. The political tasks of the office were very broad, and included the issue of personal documents, exercise of trading administration and cooperation during military drafts, all of which had direct significance for the life of the town and its Jewish community. The office was abolished in 1868, when the district head office was restored for larger political districts. After this only the district court continued to operate in Lipník nad Bečvou.
