- The fonds includes materials arising from the research work of Roland Schwarz. It includes five boxes containing excerpts from literature, archival records and manuscripts of articles, mainly dealing with the cultural history and historic topography of Holešov. One file deals with the Jewish history in Holešov: notes, excerpts, and translations of archival records concerning the murder of Josefa Trnečková in 1774.

- The fonds was registered in the district archives in Kroměříž in 1984.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Roland Schwarz (1 May 1904, Holešov - 11 August 1975, Kroměříž) graduated in Czech and German from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Prague. He was a teacher at the grammar school in Holešov and a regional researcher. He dealt with the history of Holešov, especially cultural history such as the musician F. X. Richter. He published articles in regional periodicals (Schwarz, R.: A Contribution to the History of Jews in Holešov, Bulletin of the Museum of Kroměříž, 1965, no. 18, pp. 70-76).
