- Archival history:
- The documents of the municipality of Nýrsko were deposited at the town hall. In 1956-59 they were transferred to the district state archives in Klatovy, where the arrangement of the fonds began in 2011.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The first record of the town Nýrsko is from 1327, when it already had town status. From the mid-16th century it belonged to the Bystřice estate. After 1850 the town performed autonomous self-government and delegated state authority, and became the seat of the district government and district court. After the Munich Agreement Kašperské Hory was attached to Germany as part of the Bayerische Ostmark, with its seat in Regensburg. The creator ceased to exist in May 1945 due to the formation of the national committees.
