- The fonds includes documents of the self-government of the town of Bochov. Sources on the history of Jews can be found in the following materials: Czechs and Jews in Bochov, 1938-43 (box 4/18); Assets of Jews and Czechs, 1938-43 (inv. 660); Jewish houses register, 1939 (inv. 661), 1940 (inv. 662).
- Archival history:
- The documents were transferred to the district archives in Karlovy Vary in 1961. There were further additions to the fonds from 1972-2010. The fonds has not yet been arranged.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The town of Bochov was founded in the first half of the 14th century. After 1609 the town belonged to the administration of the manor of Andělská Hora, in the 18th century called the manor of Stružná. The municipal office of Bochov ceased to exist in 1945 after the end of the German occupation.
