The following documents concern Jewish history: exclusion of Jews from justice; property law changes and inheritance - Mořic Schulz; victims of concentration camps, legal deaths (inv. 1544, 1565, 1573).
- Archival history:
- Part of the fonds of the district court in Jindřichův Hradec was given to the ministry of interior archives in 1947. From there it was transferred to the state archives in Třeboň, which was taking over material from appraisal proceedings (1949-53). Between 1958-60 part of the fonds was sorted and its inventory was made. In 1963 and 1966 the fonds was transferred to the district archives in Jindřichův Hradec. It underwent considerable regular additions until 2014 when the last archival records of the creator were taken over.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The district court in Jindřichův Hradec commenced its activity in 1850, subsidiary to the regional court in České Budějovice. The district changed little until October 1938 when, due to the Nazi occupation, some of the municipalities in the seized territory were annexed to the Nová Bystřice judicial district where an Amtsgericht (district court) was established. From 1941 the rest of the municipalities were relocated to the Třeboň and Veselí nad Lužnicí judicial districts. Jindřichův Hradec itself, with a few municipalities, was allocated to Telč. In May 1945 the Jindřichův Hradec judicial district was restored to its pre-war status, and until 1949 no substantial change took place.
