- Archival history:
- A substantial part of the archive of the district court in Dačice was given to the state archives in Telč in 1951, where part of the fonds was arranged and an inventory was created. The fonds was transferred to the district archives in Jindřichův Hradec in 1963. In 2010 an addition to the inventory was made.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The district court in Dačice commenced its activity in 1850 as a senate court for the Dačice, Jemnice and Telč districts and was active until 1873. It remained the district court until 1949. After the annexation of the borderlands in 1938 one municipality, Urbaneč, was added to its jurisdiction. In 1945 the court took over the scope of authority of the district court in Slavonice, whose activity was not renewed after the war. After 1948 the activity of the court continued until 1960, when it was incorporated to the Jindřichův Hradec judiciary district.
