In addition, the record of foreign nationals in the Jewish quarter from 1839-1894 is evidently from the production of the Jewish political community; also the abolition of the Jewish religious community in Lomnice in 1925, and the setting of excise duty for the Christian and Jewish community in Lomnice in 1861. Furthermore, the land registers from the 18th and 19th centuries and the of domicile right and population records from the period of 1864-1946 may also be of interest.
- Archival history:
- The documents were originally kept by the creator. In 1967 its successor, the Municipal National Committee in Lomnice, transferred charters and older material to the District State Archives in Blansko. The remainder was arranged in the depositary of the National Committee. After the abolition of the depositary, the remainder of the fonds was transferred to the District Archives, and the fonds was integrated and definitively arranged.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The oldest mention of Lomnice occurs in the 13th century. The market town was the centre of an estate, which until 1848 was owned by various aristocratic families. After 1848 it was an independent municipality. At the beginning of the 18th century a Jewish community was established in the municipality, relocated here from Lysice. After 1848 a Jewish political community was established here, which was merged with the Christian community in 1919. During the periods of 1850-1855, 1868-1896, 1942-1945 Lomnice was within the jurisdiction of the Political District of Brno-venkov, in the periods of 1855-1868 and 1896-1942 within the Political District of Tišnov, and in the period of 1850-1949 within the Judicial District of Tišnov.
