- The fonds of the Regional Office of Hradec Králové I includes a fraction of documents from this institution. It includes a file on Jewish history: Jewish affairs, especially marriages (inv. No. 133, signature. 34, file No. 11).
- Archival history:
- Documents of the fonds of the Regional Office of Hradec Králové I are preserved in fragments. The older material in particular suffered big losses. Material from the 19th century is somewhat better preserved. At the beginning of the 1930s, documents were taken over from the archives of Hradec Králové by the archives of the Ministry of the Interior, where they were arranged in 1944. After the establishment of the Regional (State) Archives in Kuks, the fonds was transferred to this institution. After 1960, the fonds was transferred to the State Archives in Zámrsk, where it was newly arranged and inventoried in 1965.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- In the past, the region of Hradec Králové belonged to the most significant ones in the Czech Kingdom. Until the reform in 1751, it remained a region with no major changes; only then the Bydžov region was separated from the Hradec region. In 1772, the region consisted of 62 estates, but in 1848 from only 43 dominions. The Regional Office in Hradec Králové was active until its dissolution in 1850.
