- The fonds contains documents of administration of the Měcholupy Manor Estate, spreading out over the area of today’s district of Louny. Until 1848, its administrative sphere of competence also included Jews from Měcholupy and Deštnice. Information about the real estate of Jews after 1848 is contained in the land registry of Jews from 1775-1880 (inv. № 35).
- Archival history:
- Documents were taken in 1950 from the headquarters of the manor estate in Měcholupy to the Agricultural and Forestry Archive in Libochovice. In 1970, the fonds was inventoried at the office of the State Regional Archives Litoměřice in Žitenice.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- In the 16th century, the Měcholupy Manor belonged to the Sekerka family from Sedčice. These aristocratic owners were replaced as the owners in 1860 by the Austrian brewer Antonín Dreher. His descendants also purchased Libořice Manor Estate, which they combined with Měcholupy. Family property was confiscated after 1945.
