- The fonds contains documents of patrimonial authority of the manor and economic administration of the vestigial estate. The following documents are related to Jewish matters after 1848: Non–Catholics and Jews 1830–1849; Synagogues 1831–1849; Jews 1673–1850 with plan of Jewish town in Pohořelice, estimate of assets of Pohořelice Jews 1843–1850; Permitting of Jewish marriages 1834–1849. The fonds contains a significant volume of materials concerning Jewish matters before 1848, for example Jewish schools 1838–1847; Jewish community in Pohořelice; Settlement of debt of Pohořelice Jewish community towards the pensions office by means of war bonds, matters of Pohořelice Jewish community and others.
- Archival history:
- In 1955 the materials of the Židlochovice archives were taken over by the State Archives in Brno (today the Moravian Provincial Archives in Brno), where the fonds was gradually arranged.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- From 1819 to 1918 the Židlochovice manor belonged to the Habsburg imperial family. After the First World War Židlochovice estate was confiscated and incorporated into the administrative organisation of Czechoslovakian State Forests and Estates within the newly founded Czechoslovakia. There was a Jewish community in Pohořelice on the territory of the manor.
