- The fonds was gradually transferred to Brno Municipal Archive in 1931, 1945, 1956, 1958 and 1980, and arranged in 1980.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- In 1849 Juliánov was merged with Židenice (Schimitz in German) into a single political municipality; Juliánov became independent again only in 1867. In 1919 Židenice became part of Brno. From the Jewish history point of view, it is important to note that the Brno Jewish Community bought land there in 1852 and, after obtaining a building permit, built a Jewish cemetery. During the period 1850-1919 Židenice belonged to the political district of Brno-venkov; in 1850-1855 it belonged to the judicial district Brno-horní and in 1855–1892 to Brno-venkov.
