- Archival history:
- No detailed information about the fonds’ history exists. It was arranged in the Brno City Archives in the mid-1950s.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Presidial Registry was established by keeping separately files which were dealt with by the Presidium of the Brno Municipality Office during the period 1831–1887. When submitted the files were exhibited, and after being dealt with kept in the Registry. From 1885 on, the Mayor handled some less important files directly without having them exhibited. Later such files were every year sent to the Registry as duly exhibited files.
