- The fonds contains fragmentary files, the statues of the local burial society (chevra kadisha) from 1834 and a Hazkara.
- Archival history:
- The records were sent to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague from Brno during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Moravský Krumlov is documented from the 15th century. A Jewish religious community was established there in the first half of the 16th century. It was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938 and did not resume its activities after the Second World War.
