- The fonds contains minutes of meetings, files relating to the management of charitable foundations, fragmentary correspondence and financial files.
- Archival history:
- The records of meetings were kept at the Jewish Museum in Mikulov before the Second World War. All the records were transferred to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague from Brno during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The earliest references to a Jewish settlement in Břeclav date from the 15th century. A Jewish religious community existed there from the 16th century. It was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938 and did not resume its activities after the Second World War.
