- The fonds contains Hazkarot, fragmentary files, and copies of material relating to the history of the Jews in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou.
- Archival history:
- The records were sent to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague from Brno during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded. The copies of records are from the Jewish Museum in Mikulov.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The earliest references to a Jewish community in Miroslav date from the 16th century. The Jewish community was at its largest around the middle of the 19th century. It was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938 and did not resume its activities after the Second World War.
