- The fonds contains the statutes of the Jewish Religious Community of Lipník nad Bečvou (1884–1927), filing registers, meeting minutes, election records, personnel records, Familiantenbuch (register of Familiants), a community membership register, certificates of domicile, construction-related documents, material relating to the management of immovable property, official memoranda, business records, criminal case records, material relating to relations between the political and the Jewish religious communities, financial records, charitable foundation files, tax files, material relating to welfare for the poor, a register of synagogue seats, Hazkarot, a graves register, documents of the burial society (chevra kadisha), fragmentary files of a Jewish school, and records of various Jewish associations and institutions. The fonds also contains a register of names of local Jews, personnel records, official correspondence, financial records (relating to charitable foundations and the religious tax, among other things), a graves register and a cash book of the burial society (chevra kadisha), all of which date from the period of Nazi Occupation.

- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Lipník nad Bečvou is documented from the 15th century. A Jewish religious community was in existence, at the latest, in the 16th century. A prominent yeshivah was active there in the 19th century. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
