- The fonds contains the statutes of the Jewish Religious Community of Kojetín (1884–1897), filing registers, election records, personnel records, correspondence, registry records, files relating to Jewish houses, financial records, documents of the burial society (chevra kadisha), Jewish school and associations, and records of the affiliated community of Tovačov. It also contains a register of minutes of burial society meetings (kept until 1939). There are also minutes of a meeting of a women's association in 1939, as well as a collection of correspondence and a register of minutes of meetings of the community of Tovačov (kept until 1940).
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Kojetín is documented from the mid-15th century. A Jewish religious community existed there from the 16th century at the latest. It was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.

- Materials in the fonds are arranged thematically as follows: registers and files of the Jewish community, registers and files of the local synagogue, registers and files of the burial society (chevra kadisha), registers and files of a Jewish school, registers and files of Jewish associations, registers and files of affiliated communities.
