- The fonds contains meeting minutes, financial records and documents of the burial society (chevra kadisha)-notably the cemetery registers of the communities of Chotěboř and Hoješín. It also contains a cash book of the burial society (chevra kadisha) and the cemetery registers, which end in 1940 and 1942 respectively.
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- A Jewish religious community was established in Chotěboř in 1862. It was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
