- The fonds contains the statutes of the Jewish Religious Community of Bílovec (1894), minutes of meetings, financial and property matters and a cemetery plan.
- Archival history:
- The entire fonds was transferred to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague from the District Archives in Nový Jičín in September 1966.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Bílovec is documented from the beginning of the 18th century. A prayer association was established there in 1870, a Jewish religious community in 1893 (including the area of the judicial districts of Bílovec, Klimkovice, Odry and Vítkov). The community was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938. It did not resume its activities after the Second World War.
