- The fonds contains only the statutes of the Association of Jewish Religious Communities in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands (Českomoravská Vysočina).
- Archival history:
- The record was incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Havlíčkův Brod is documented in the 14th century. Jews were not allowed to live there from the middle of the 15th century to the middle of the 19th. The first Jewish family arrived in 1860. A prayer association was established some time before 1869, becoming the Religious Community of Německý Brod in 1884. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
