- Archival history:
- It has not been ascertained when or how the association's records came to the Jewish Museum in Prague, but this probably occurred some time in the 1950s.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Association of Czechoslovak Legionnaires of Jewish Origin was founded some time around 1933. It resumed its activities after the Second World War, from 1947 known as the Association of Czechoslovak Legionnaires of Jewish Origin. Its work focused on helping its members to emigrate to Israel, but information about the implementation of this project has not been fully preserved. With the departure of the main organiser, R. Rodek, in June 1949, the association's activities practically came to an end. The association was officially discontinued in 1952.
