- Scope and content:
- The fonds contains the seals and (rubber) stamps of Jewish communities, associations and institutions, Pesach seals, kosher seals, seals of rabbis and other important personages.
- Archival history:
- The collection was acquired by the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded. In connection with a revision and re-arrangement of the collection in 2008–2012, 26 matrices from the museum's Collections Department were transferred to its archive; 8 items (5 seals and 3 (rubber) stamps) were acquired through purchases. At present, the collection contains 100 seals and 320 matrices.
