- The fonds contains fragmentary files of the Jewish community and two financial registers.
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- A Jewish prayer association in Jeseník was established in about 1870, becoming a religious community in 1893-including the area of the judicial districts of Frývaldov, Javorník and Vidnava and, from 1928, part of the area of the disbanded Jewish Religious Community of Osoblaha. The community was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938. It did not resume its activities after the Second World War.
