- The fonds contains written material relating to a rabbinical examination and a rabbinical certificate (1942).
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Shmil (Shmuel/Samuel, Emil) Rabinovský was born in Bessarabia on 10 May 1901. He graduated from high school in Kishinev in 1921 and studied Semitic philology at Charles University, Prague. He lived in Pelhřimov. He took his rabbinical examination in Prague on 4 and 5 of November 1942. He was deported from Tábor (Transport Cb) to the Terezín ghetto on 16 November 1942 and was sent to Auschwitz (Transport Ek) on 28 September 1944, where he died.
