- The fonds contains rabbinic diplomas (1701–1713).
- Archival history:
- The rabbinic diplomas were purchased for the Jewish Museum in Prague at an auction held in Munich in 1932.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- David Oppenheim (born 1664 in Worms, died 1736 in Prague) was rabbi. He held a number of important positions over time-chief rabbi of Moravia, chief rabbi of Prague, chief rabbi of Bohemia. He had a large collection of manuscripts and printed books, which since 1829 have been kept at Oxford University’s Bodleian Library.
