- The fonds contains personal and family records, family photographs, various building photographs and plans, newspaper clippings, photo albums of the construction of a sanatorium in Vyšné Hágy, various sketches and drawings.

- The material was donated to the Jewish Museum in Prague in 1947.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Ing. arch. Jiří Kan (1895, Riga, Latvia – 1944, Auschwitz). He attended the Technische Hochschule in Berlin. Together with František A. Libra, he designed the Central Social Insurance Company in Smíchov, Prague, in 1936. In collaboration with Libra, he designed factories in the Prague districts of Hlubočepy and Vysočany, as well as a number of tenement houses and villas. He also designed buildings for saving banks in various cities. His most prestigious design was the Masaryk Sanatorium for the treatment of tuberculosis and lung diseases in VyšnéHágy in the High Tatras, which is an internationally important work of functionalist architecture. He was deported to the Terezín ghetto during the war and perished in Auschwitz.
