- The fonds contains personal documents, personal correspondence, theological studies, sermons and documents relating to the Jeiteles family.
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Dr. Berthold Jeiteles (1875–1958) was a chemist, Talmudic scholar and rabbi. He was born in Prague, was incarcerated in the Terezín ghetto during the war, returned to Prague after the war and emigrated to New York in 1948.
