- The fonds contains personal documents and documents relating to family members as well as extracts and studies relating to the history of the Jews in Bohemia and Moravia, genealogical studies and documents relating to the library of the Jewish Religious Community of Prague.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- Dr. Tobias Jakobovits (born 1887 in Lackenbach, Austria, died 1944 in Auschwitz) was a rabbi, teacher of religion and librarian of the Jewish Religious Community Prague. He received a rabbinic education at a yeshivah in Bratislava, attended the rabbinic seminary in Berlin and studied at the Prague German University. He taught religion and served as rabbi in Michle (1917–1928) and in Uhlířské Janovice (from 1930). From 1922 he was the librarian of the Jewish Religious Community of Prague. During the war he worked at the Central Jewish Museum. He is the author of a number of studies on the history of the Jews of Bohemia and Moravia.
