- The fonds contains typescripts of various speeches and proclamations (1848).

- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Samson Raphael Hirsch (born 1808 in Hamburg, died 1888 in Frankfurt am Main) was a rabbi. He first worked in Oldenburg, Emden. From 1847 he was chief rabbi of Moravia (based in Mikulov); in 1851 he left for Frankfurt am Main. He was the founder of German neo-Orthodoxy.
