- The fonds contains literary papers, draft studies (typescripts), speeches, fragmentary correspondence, notes on the Shabbat portions of the Torah, a photo album and birthday wishes from the Jewish community on the occasion of Feder's 80th birthday on 26 August 1955.

- The material was gradually handed over to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague after 2000.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Dr. Richard Feder (born 26 August 1875 in Václavice, died 18 November 1970 in Brno) was a rabbi. He served as rabbi in Kojetín (1903–1906), Roudnice nad Labem (1906–1912), Louny (1912–1917) and Kolín (from 1917). During the war he was incarcerated in the Terezín ghetto. After the war he returned to Kolín. From 1953 he was the regional rabbi of Moravia and Silesia with his base in Brno and in 1960 he became chief rabbi of the Bohemian lands. He is the author of a number of theological treatises, textbooks and essays.
