- Scope and content:
- The fonds contains a pinkas (ledger), cash books, an inventory list, and a Hazkara for the members of the Boruch Sheomar association.
- Archival history:
- The records came to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish communities and organisations that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The synagogue was commissioned by Jacob Bassevi von Treuenberg and was built in 1627. It burned down in 1689 and was not rebuilt until 1708. It burned down again in 1754 and was restored to its original condition. Alterations were carried out in 1854 and 1883. It was demolished during the urban renewal of Prague's Jewish Town in 1906.
