- The fonds contains the 1895 statutes of the Jewish Religious Community of Vinohrady, filing registers, minutes of meetings, election records, personnel files, registry records, a marriage register (1892–1903), correspondence, documents relating to a proposal to merge the Jewish communities of Prague (1930–1939), financial records, religious tax records, files and plans relating to the construction of the Vinohrady Synagogue, fragmentary files relating to various Jewish associations in Vinohrady.
- Archival history:
- The records were sent to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- A Jewish settlement probably existed in Vinohrady from the beginning of the 19th century, since when it gradually expanded. A prayer association was established in 1880, becoming a separate religious community after 1890. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
