- The fonds contains the 1899–1925 statutes of the Jewish Religious Community of Smíchov, filing registers, minutes of meetings, a marriage banns register (1912–1922), a memorial book (1873), election records, personnel files, registry records, correspondence, financial and tax records, documents relating to the rebuilding of the local synagogue, a register of synagogue seats, cemetery registers, plans for alterations to the local synagogue in Malvazinky, the statutes and other records of the burial society (chevra kadisha), files of the associated communities of Davle, Košíře and Roztoky.
- Archival history:
- The records were sent to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Smíchov is documented from the middle of the 18th century. A Jewish religious community existed there from the 18th century (legally codified in 1788) until the Second World War. It did not resume its activities after the war.

- The fonds is arranged as follows: a book/register and files of the Jewish community, files of the local synagogue, books/registers and files of a Jewish association.
