- The fonds contains a request from the burial society (chevra kadisha) in Blevice for a contribution to repair the cemetery.
- Archival history:
- The record was incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- A minor Jewish settlement in Velvary is documented in the 15th and 16th centuries, reappearing at the end of the 18th century. A Jewish prayer association was established there in 1876, becoming a religious community in 1893. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
