- Jewish settlement in Žlutice is documented from the beginning of the 18th century, but it was not until the second half of the 19th century that a larger number of Jewish families moved to the town. A Jewish religious community was established in 1875. It incorporated the area of the disbanded community of Nečtiny (Netschetin) in 1932. The Žlutice community was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938. It did not resume its activities after the Second World War.
